What are the common characteristics of a Pip Capital & Consulting client?
Pip Capital & Consulting clients often share several common goals including:
- A general long term, results-oriented growth goal that exceeds the performance of standard cookie cutter portfolios found at large Financial Advisor firms.
- An interest in receiving ongoing updates of future strategy in their portfolios.
- An expectation of not being treated like a number. Knowing that their advisor firm has a strong knowledge of their portfolio, net worth, long term financial objectives, etc. at a moment’s notice without having to reference a file.
- An appreciation for constant, detailed communication that is easy to understand and doesn’t require a career in Financial planning to understand.
Pip Capital & Consulting works with clients with a growing net worth and interest in growing their savings / investment income.
Pip Capital & Consulting, LLC is a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) registered with the state of Florida.
What does that mean?
A Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm is in the business of giving advice about securities and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
This aspect of our business, while seemingly self-evident, actually differs from some of the lower suitability standards found at other firms within the financial services industry.
Do you hold and manage client assets?
As a matter of policy Pip Capital & Consulting does not exercise custody over client assets or accounts. It is firm policy not to accept, hold, directly or indirectly, client funds or securities with the sole exception of direct debiting of advisory fees. Interactive Brokers is the qualified custodian and maintains custody of client funds in separate brokerage account(s) for each client under the client’s name.
Clients can access daily, monthly, and annual account statements as well as daily trade confirmations through a password protected portion of Interactive Brokers’ website.
Some of the biggest financial frauds perpetuated in history have been enabled by not requiring this system of checks and balances, a simple separation of advisory services from the custody of assets.
